November 7th-8th The Virginia Community College System has it's annual Student Leadership Conference in Roanoke. They've asked me to be a part of a new community service component, so we'll spend a few hours at the Rescue Mission. I'll get a chance to inject music into the moment, and tell the story of the experience to the assembly.

December 8th The music teachers at Oxbow Creek Elementary and I will present our sixth annual second grade program of entirely original songs, written by the kids and I. This year they are based on "Steve the Tree" and "The Giving Tree".

January 29-31 Holy Love and I have partnered for nine years to provide musical relief/diversion to the kids and families at the Denver Children's Hospital.

February 2-4 Ryan Meese concocted a multi-part residency in his hometown of Waunakee, WI as the culminating project to complete his Eagle Scout requirements. I believe we achieved even more than we thought possible. The final concert included Ryan on stand up bass his Dad, Paul, on drums. We did some tunes off my CD 'Innerweather'. Finally, Jamie came up to sing with me to close. There's nothing sweeter than singing with your own kid.
