a year of songs: number 50

• Thursday, December10th: In all the years I've written songs, I don't recall ever writing a Christmas or Advent song. It wasn't part of my plan to make that happen in 52 Songs, but that's the song that presented itself this week. Here's Number 50, "Waiting On a Birth".

I was in New York City last weekend and braved 5th Avenue with it's famous shopping. It was crowded and crazy and I

stopped to take a picture of the entrance to Rockefeller Plaza. The famous tree was really decked out and there were skaters gliding across the ice rink. Beautiful.

The Project:
52 songs in 52 weeks from January 1 to December 24, 2009. I'm going to attempt to write a new song (or tackle old unfinished songs) at a pace of one per week.

I'll record them and post them here, as well as the 52 Songs facebook group and ReverbNation.com. I'm hoping you will take a few minutes to listen and/or download them (for free) and occasionally give me feedback. A few more details.
