• Thursday, October 1st: This week I sang for hundreds of elderly folks in five different care centers in Iowa and Illinois. The dozens of college students who went with me made faces light up. We talked about how we see ourselves in a future similar circumstance. We wondered what might be different and what might be the same. This weeks song is from our talks. So come and sing with me in thirty-some years. I'll be by the window. Here is Number 40, "At the Home":

The Project:
52 songs in 52 weeks from January 1 to December 24, 2009. I'm going to attempt to write a new song (or tackle old unfinished songs) at a pace of one per week.
