- Thursday, August 13th: While in Denver to sing I tell someone
I'm heading to Montana to go fly fishing. They react as though they perceive
me to be some kind of master at it. It crossed my mind right then how I'll
be the one most often fooled by the intelligent fish in the Bighorn River.
So I wrote this song in advance of my failures to land the beautiful trout.

I'm having fun recording songs in unusual places so today I set up in front
of the Denver Art Museum. Security gave me the OK as long as I didn't sing
for donations. With a bottle of water and a Colorado peach someone bought me,
I spent an hour making this song up, then singing it into my recording device.
It brought me back to my days on Venice Beach (CA). I didn't
make any money then either.
